Ben Stire This Tulsa band is extremely promising! I had been looking forward to hearing material from Hersker, and with 'Death Before Dishonor' they demonstrate some fairly aggressive black metal with a few death metal elements. I really like the warm and natural yet still raw production. The riffs are memorable, the drumming is tight, and the vocals are consistently powerful.

My favorite moment is the riff at the end of Blood of Swine. It really evokes Immolation in the best way. Favorite track: Blood of Swine.
